On Thursday, December 17, 2020, the Albanian Chamber of Judicial Officers is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. The festive General Assembly of the Albanian Chamber will be conducted online due to the current general safety and health conditions.
Within the first decade of their activities, Albanian self-employed judicial officers have obtained notable achievements in the area of safeguarding the effectiveness of the right to a fair trial as stipulated by the Article 6 of the European Convention of Human Rights within the Albanian civil justice system.
From the very beginning of its work, the Albanian Chamber has been involved in a number of international activities, becoming an important and highly valued member of the International Union of Judicial Officers, a global organization of judicial officers established in 1949 and presently having more than 90 national members.
The Albanian Chamber of Judicial Officers is one of the four founding members of the Balkan Enforcement Initiative, a regional professional network of self-employed judicial officers and has contributed significantly in its establishment and activities.
